Maria Asimakopoulou is a lawyer admitted to practise before the Supreme Court of Greece and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2003. She studied in Greece and Germany, where she obtained an LL.M. in Civil and Commercial Law from the University of Tübingen.
She holds four postgraduate degrees in civil, tax, energy and natural-resources law, together with further qualifications from leading international universities.
Since 2017, she has run her own law office in Athens, having also maintained her own practice from 2013 to 2015. She provides personal legal services to individuals and businesses in Greece and abroad.
She is an accredited mediator of the Hellenic Ministry of Justice, registered in the General Register of Mediators under number 3741 for civil, commercial and family disputes.
